City Breaks Europe

City Breaks Europe: Paris

To kick off City Breaks Europe blog I can't think of anywhere better to write about than Paris. Paris is so obvious and well known as a city breaks Europe destination that it may sounds just a little bit cliched, but really there's a very good reason why the French city has become the unchallenged leader in this particular field. It's simple because so many people fall in love with Paris the first time they go there for a city break or longer stay, and then they just want to keep on going back time and time again. There's so much to see and do in Paris and it somehow manages to retain a level of excitement no matter how familiar the landmarks and streets become to you. So Paris breaks are by far the most popular city breaks for people coming from Europe, London and around the world.

City Breaks Europe from London

Starting out from London, as milions of people from around the UK do, Paris is our exotix next door neighbour. At only 2 hours and 15 minutes now by high speed Eurostar train from St Pancras Station, there are even people who trabel back and fore between the two capitals as a matter of course for business, on day trips and as a kind of international commute. But we are concerned with city breaks. Europe has a whole wealth of interesting little capital cities, more than one for each country in some ways, but Paris doesn't belong to just France. We all have a little piece of our heart there which makes Paris one of the most internationlised cities on Europe, while still being unmistakably French.

Eurostar City Breaks Europe

So the best option for city breaks Europe to Paris is to take advantage of one of the many Eurostar deals available with a hotel in central Paris included with the train tickets altogether as one package deal.

Next on the city breaks Europe blog we are going to deal with Eastern European city breaks.
